Maymee L. Harden age 99 longtime Dearing, Kansas resident passed away on September 12, 2019 at Medicalodges of Coffeyville.

Maymee and her twin sister were born on May 13, 1920 in Depew, Oklahoma.  Maymee was 1 of 16 children born to Major Felix Hardin and Cornelius Caldonia (Fields) Hardin. The family made their home in Dearing and that is where Maymee attended school. Maymee always made sure that everyone’s needs were taken care; she was extremely independent, playful and a very loving person. She was always happy and never angry. Maymee enjoyed walking and working out in the yard; she cared for vegetable and flower gardens and spent her days tending to their needs. When she wasn’t busy in the yard, she could be found shopping, she loved shopping. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Maymee’s memories will live on with her sister Elnora Monroe, and a host of nieces and nephews. She now rests with her parents; 9 brothers; her twin Amiee L. Roberts and 4 sisters.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. A private burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery at a later date. To leave the family a message of condolence, please visit www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com.
