Randall “Randy” Martin Cardwell age 43, passed away on January 25, 2021 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

Randy was born to Randall K. and Cheri (Risley) Cardwell on December 12, 1977 in Solono, California.

Randy was known as “The Gentle Giant”, “Big Teddy Bear”, and “Tiny” to name just a few terms of endearment in describing Randy.  He grew up a military kid better known as a “Military Brat”, his father, was deployed all over the United States and abroad most of his childhood with the family moving with every assignment.  While living in Japan he was the only member of his family to complete climbing to the top of Mt. Fuji, he was quite excited with his accomplishment.  Also, while in Japan learned to play five musical instruments and was nominated for a Presidential Award for his accomplishments.  Back state side in California, Randy attended Fallbrook High School and played in the marching band and he also graduated from Fallbrook High School.

Randy was a big kid at heart he still enjoyed the fascination of Transformers, building things with Lego’s, working with electronics, Star Wars and Star Trek movies.  Randy had a special gift of making friends and accepting people for who they were.  He made everyone he met feel as though they had been friends for years.  He cared deeply for everyone always making sure everyone was taken care of and lending a hand. His love for music never ended, he still desired to one day be able to return to school to obtain his teaching degree. For most of his of employment, he was an over the road truck driver but, returned to Coffeyville to be closer to family and was currently working for Securitas Security at CVR Energy until his passing.

After only ten months of courtship Randy married the love of his life, Jami Supon on November 2, 2020 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Jami was his everything, she completed him.  The couple made their home in Coffeyville.

Wonderful memories will be cherished by his wife, Jami of the home, his son, John Cardwell and children he loved and raised as his own, Ronald Pruitt, Trevor Crawford, Shelby and Gracie Crawford, his dad, Randall K. Caldwell and his wife, Lynn, his mother, Cheri and her husband Michael Lail, his siblings, Josh Cardwell, Aaron Cardwell and Amber Rosales, and his grandma, Mildred McGee, step grandfather, Rodney Wright, mother-in-law, Trudy Hurst, father in-law, Jim Supon and his wife Lisa, and his nieces, nephew and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10 am at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville with Evangelist David Bycroft officiating.  The family has requested memorial contributions be made payable to the John Cardwell Education Fund and may be left in care of the chapel.  To leave a message of condolence or share a memory visit www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com
