Obituary

Stephanie Diane Hawes, age 42, of Coffeyville passed away on December 6, 2020 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

Stephanie was born on March 19, 1978 in Longview, Washington to Aaron Kent and Lecia Faye (Delong) Hawes. The family made their home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, it was there that she attended local schools and graduated from high school.  In 2003 she met Jesse Ashe and they made their home in Coffeyville, the couple was blessed with a daughter Lilly Faye Ashe in January 2005. Stephanie found employment with Star Pipe where she has devoted over 10 years. Stephanie loved her family and she absolutely loved every second she was with them. She liked 80’s rock, pink purses, strawberries, dalmatians, finding homes for dogs at the shelter, and her cats, Domino and Romeo. Known as the great finder of things, she knew where everything was. Losing her parents at a young age, she became the protector of her siblings, that carried over her entire life. She cared deeply for everyone and was always a bit protective over her closest friends and family. Most of all, she loved her daughter Lilly.

Stephanie’s memories will live on with her spouse Jesse Ashe, daughter Lilly Faye Ashe, brother Christopher Aaron Hawes, sister Krystal Dawn Hawes, Sister-in Love Melissa Kucyk, Mothers-in Love Debby Brown and Pam McCullough,  several nieces and nephews, her cats; Domino and Romeo and Hazel the dog.

She now rests in love with her parents.

Cremation will take place under the direction of Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel and the family will hold a memorial at a later date. To share a memory or a message of condolence, please visit www.fordwulfbrunschapel.com
