Sue Ann (McAfee) McAfee

October 16, 1942 ~ November 22, 2020 (age 78)

Sue A. McAfee went to be with our Lord during the halftime of her beloved Chiefs game, November 22, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. The Chiefs won their battle 35-31.  Her family was at her side during her last days. The week before she passed, she had a celebration of her life with her children, grandchildren and great-grandsons. Everyone noticed that she smiled more than she had in years.

Sue was born on October 16, 1942 to F. Darlene (Angleton) and Robert Louis McAfee. Sue was the eldest of 4 children. She is survived by her sister Pam McAfee and brother Robert McAfee; her children, Kelle Kiser and her husband D.J. Morse, sons Keith Kiser and his wife Susan, Sean Johnston his wife Natalie, and Robert (Bobby) Johnston; her special niece Angela Orcutt and her husband Gordon; grandsons Cody Carrillo, Nicholas Carrillo, Andrew Carrillo, Mason Kiser and his wife Cheyenne, Samuel Kiser, Lakin Johnston, Blaine Johnston, Adam Lattin, Zayne Oliphant,  and Michael Johnston; great-grandsons Christian Carrillo, Cody Carrrillo Jr and Caio Carrillo.  Sue still had many cousins and an aunt.

Many of her family had gone before her including her father, Robert L. McAfee, her mother F. Darlene Hardy, her stepfather Ralph Hardy, her brother Michael McAfee.

Sue loved her family fiercely and was so proud of her family of nearly all boys. She was an avid Chiefs fan; she was telling her family she became a fan in 1974. Her sons/grandsons would visit with her about this and football in general, she knew her football. Her other great love was Elvis Presley, her family remembers the day he died because she was tearful all day. Sue would also spend as much time as she could in a casino.

There will be a private family ceremony that will be available to view online per Facebook Live on  Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel page and will be archived on their website for additional viewing. You will find more celebration of Sue there also. We ask you to please understand that above all Sue wanted to keep her family safe during this pandemic, thus the private service. Family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Coffeyville Friends of the Animals, donations may be sent to the Ford Wulf Bruns Chapel, 2405 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.
