Obituary

William Todd Castro age 57 of Bartlesville passed away on August 23, 2020 as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Bill was born on June 6, 1963 in Fort Hood, Texas to Rafael and Carolyn (Keeling) Castro. As a child Bill’s family moved around often as Rafael served in the Military. In 1973 the family made Coffeyville their home. Bill enlisted in the United States Army where he served as an Infantryman for over 12 years. He served in Somalia, Germany, and the Gulf War, he earned many medals and ribbons during his years of faithful and dedicated service. Once discharged. Bill returned home to Coffeyville where he began working for AIW he would spend the next 20 years with them until he moved to Idaho to be closer to his brother. While in Idaho me met Terry Gebhardt in 2005 and the couple started dating, on July 7, 2007 the couple was united in marriage. They made their home in Bartlesville, Bill went back to work for AIW until its closing and he then found employment with SMC as a welder. Bill loved hunting, really anything that moved was a thrill but deer, elk, and turkey were some of his favorites, he also enjoyed fishing, there again any fish were great but his favorite were catfish, he also loved riding his motorcycle. Bill had the most generous heart, always smiling, helping, and treating Terry with chivalry. He didn’t know a stranger and could find himself in an hour-long conversation with someone he just met.

Bill’s memories will live on with the ones he loved the most, his wife Terry, daughters; Crystal Spawn and Reva Cannady, his brother Tony Castro his wife Tori, sisters; Laura Campbell her significant other Ron Nielsen and Susie Castro, 9 grandsons, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

He now rests with his parents; Rafael and Carolyn Castro, and his brother Roy Castro.
