Connie Oller-Striplin (79) of Coffeyville, Kansas passed on May 3, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Born in Morrisonville, IL Connie was raised in Litchfield where she graduated from Litchfield High School in 1960. After high-school Connie earned her beautician license, often spoke about her time working at Franklin Life Insurance, had a small baking business, along with other jobs. An avid outdoorsman, she loved to camp, fish, and boat. Connie loved riding motorcycles, cheered her son at motocross races, and was den mother of a boy scouts troop in Springfield.
Connie is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Striplin, parents Floyd and Cynthia Oller, brother Floyd Oller, son Joey Worley and two granddaughters Caitlynn and Olivia Watkins.
She is survived by her children, Gary Jones (Stacy) of Harleton, TX; Angie (Jason) Kendrick, of Coffeyville, KS; Jay Striplin of Dallas, TX; Allen (Marcie) Striplin of Yuma, AZ; Marsha Watkins of Jesup, GA; Sister Sharon Oller, Longview, TX. She is also survived by her grand-children: Alex Glasscock, Alicia Jones, Sudee Jones, Cailyn Skelton, John Garrett, Lance Striplin, Amber Kendrick, Erin Kendrick, Krystle Churchill, Kody Striplin, Kameron Striplin, Mariah Striplin, Leila Striplin, Brittany Watkins, Madison Watkins and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm May 15,2021 at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel at 2405 Woodland Ave, Coffeyville, KS. The family suggests memorials be made payable to the American Cancer Society and they may be sent in care of the Chapel.
